Annual Christmas Tradition, New Charm: Experimenting with Edits in Downtown SF

Come and check out my wife and I’s annual holiday tradition of wandering through downtown San Francisco's festive wonders as it became an even more enchanting affair this year. Embracing a subtle change, I experimented with new photo edits hoping to cast a timeless matte effect over each capture.

Union Square's Twinkling Triumph:

Approaching Union Square, we felt the festive joy in the air. The towering Christmas tree, embellished with twinkling lights and ornaments, set the stage for joyful ice-skating under its majestic branches.

Macy's Enchantment:

Macy's, a beacon of holiday spirit, transformed into a winter wonderland. The entire facade became a visual feast, inviting us into a world of festive delights capturing the essence of a bygone era.

Neiman Marcus and the Rotunda Elegance:

Neiman Marcus welcomed us to the Rotunda's timeless elegance, now adorned with a sophisticated matte effect. The iconic dome, with its festive ornaments and lights, whispered tales of holiday magic, captured in a dreamlike finish.

William Sonoma's Whimsical Haven:

Our favorite decorated store, William Sonoma, became an enchanting haven of holiday-inspired delights. The comfortable and luxurious decor created a unique visual experience, making every corner a timeless tableau of festive charm.

Westin Hotel's Grandeur:

The Westin Hotel's lobby, radiating grandeur and towering trees to intricate ornaments, every detail was captured in a symphony of elegance, exuding the warmth of the season.

Chinatown Lanterns Aglow:

In Chinatown, lantern-lit streets assumed a painterly quality, adding cultural magic to our holiday journey. The vibrant colors and delicate glow of the lanterns created a perfect ending to our day of festive wonders.
