Golden Hour Magic at Andy Goldsworthy's Wood Line: A Family Photoshoot

There’s nothing quite like golden hour at Andy Goldsworthy’s Wood Line in San Francisco, especially for capturing the magic of a family session. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family—mom, dad, their adorable baby girl, and even their beloved dog—against the backdrop of towering trees and natural beauty. Wood Line provided the perfect setting for a relaxed yet timeless photoshoot, and the soft, golden light made every shot feel like a dream.

We began with a few family portraits of all four of them, where the light gently filtered through the trees, creating a beautiful, warm glow. Everyone looked so natural and comfortable together, which made capturing their love and connection effortless. The baby girl was all smiles, making the family photos even more heartwarming. Next, I focused on some tender moments between mom and daughter, followed by sweet portraits of dad and daughter, highlighting the special bonds they share.

Of course, I couldn’t forget about their furry family member! I took some solo shots of their adorable dog, who added so much personality and fun to the session. Finally, I captured a few candid moments of the family walking together along Wood Line, laughing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. These candid shots, with the golden light streaming through the trees, really brought out the warmth and joy of the day.

Andy Goldsworthy's Wood Line is truly a unique and serene location for family photography, and golden hour made it even more magical. I’m so grateful to this wonderful family for letting me document their special moments in such a picturesque spot.

Cheers!
